Shakespeare uses the symbol of blood to represent the hatred trip that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth feel after the violence has fleetred. quietude is used to symbolize the innocence, purity, and peace of mind, and when Macbeth effaces Duncan it displays how violence occurs with sleep. Lastly, the symbol of hallucinations represents the result of violence which later turns into evil. Symbolism is widely displayed in pitch to fulfil the general topic of violence which later turns to vice. Throughout the play, Shakespeare uses the symbol of blood to represent the violence a nd guilt that occur passim the play. The narrator states, This is a sorry sight. (2.2.27) Here Shakespeare begins to explore the blood as a symbol of violence because Macbeth is face at his bloody hands and knows what he did was wrong. Macbeth wherefore feels the guilt within him and begins to anxiously think of what is going to happen if he astonishs caught. Shakespeare then states, My hands are of your colour. (2.2.77) When Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth that she will go frame up the daggers back, you think of her as all supply and no guilt or second thoughts about what they know started. But, Lady Macbeth states except I shame/ to wear a heart so white. (2.2.77-78) which means she is starting to feel the guilt of the murder.
